Munkácsy Award-winning painter
He completed his studies at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where Jenő Barcsay had a significant influence on him. He taught painting at the Secondary School of Visual Arts from 1972 and at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts from 1987, while also organising art courses at the Artists’ Colony in Tihany. He won the scholarship of the Hungarian Academy in Rome in 1995. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Flóris Rómer Museum of Art and History, the Ottó Herman Museum and the Rippl-Rónai Museum.
