János SZILÁGYI

(1954, Vésztő) graphic artist, painte

He graduated in 1989 from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where his masters were Károly Raszler, Imre Kocsis, Gábor Nagy and Tibor Rozanits. He is active in the areas of graphic art, watercolour and oil painting, often working with mixed media. He regularly participates in exhibitions in Hungary and had solo exhibitions in Italy (1993) and The Hague (2010). He is the head of the Spiritusz Creative Group of Fine Arts. He won the prize awarded by the Hungarian Academy of Arts at the Living Hungarian Painting exhibition in 2018. His works can be found in the Grotesque collection in Kaposvár, among others.
