Munkácsy Award-winning sculptor
He trained as a period furniture woodcarver but turned to fine arts at an early age. He regarded Tibor Csiky as his master. He regularly exhibited his works from 1976. His sculptures in wood, stone and chrome steel represent a unique style within the fields of minimal art and con structive sculpture. He won the award of the International Artists’ Colony of Győr in 1992, and the award of the National Wood Sculpture Exhibition in Nagyatád on three occasions (1992, 1994, 1998).
