Andor BECSKEI

(1991, Zenta / Senta, SRB) sculptor

He graduated in sculpture in 2017 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE), where his teachers were Zoltán Karmó, Péter Menasági and Géza Sallai. He won the Tamás Vigh Prize for his thesis. He had been the director of the Lendva International Bronze Sculpture Symposium since 2022. His solo exhibition Silent Forms opened in the Parthenon Frieze Hall of MKE’s Epreskert studio in 2023 and in the same year he was invited to The Way of Harmony international art symposium in Chengdu, China, where his work Inverted Space won him the main prize in the international installation category. He became a fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Arts in 2024.
