András GÁL

(1968, Budapest) painter

He graduated in 1991 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his masters were Lajos Sváby, Károly Klimó and Zoltán Tölg-Molnár. In recent years, he has had solo exhibitions in Budapest, Debrecen, Veszprém, Vienna, Rome, Venice and Istanbul, as well as in other venues. He had a solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Budapest in 2021 and won the Munkácsy Award in the same year. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Vass Collection, the Antal-Lusztig Collection, the Sammlung Schroth Soest, the Osthaus Museum Hagen and the Universalmuseum Joanneum Graz.
