Balázs MAGYARI

(1985, Marosvásárhely / Târgu Mureș, RO) sculptor

He completed his secondary education at the Art Lyceum of Marosvásárhely between 1995 and 1998 and graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2012. His masters were Sztefanu Sztefanosz, Zoltán Karmó, Tamás Körösényi and Ádám Farkas. He has been regularly exhibiting his works since 2005. He received the Jenő Kerényi Prize in 2005 and the Gundel Art Award in 2013. His open-air sculptures can be found at the Semmelweis University in Budapest and in several other places in Hungary and Transylvania.
