Munkácsy Award-winning painter
He studied painting at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, during which time he was a member of the Rózsa Circle. He joined the new painting movement and regularly participated in both its domestic and international exhibitions in the 1980s. He spent several years under a scholarship in Cismar and Rome in the 1990s. The Ernst Museum hosted a retrospective exhibition of his works in 1998, followed by another at the Municipal Picture Gallery – Kiscelli Museum in 2002.
