Ádám BORUZS
(1980, Debrecen) painter
He graduated in painting in 2018 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his teachers were Imre Bukta and Péter Kiss. As a multimedia artist, he draws inspiration from the interaction between science and art with analogue painting, video art and installation art influencing each other. His works focus on the interval of visual and audiovisual perception. His thoughts are based on concepts that connect fine art with scientific issues metaphorically. In the last two years, he has been working on digital signal processing, digitally generative and analog imaging possibilities of chaotic and transient phenomena, as well as their visuality. He has been holding solo exhibitions since 2012. His most important awards include the Ari Kupsus Art Award (2017), the Junior Master of Light (2016), the Unilever Art Award (2018), the Decode “Promising Project” Award (2020) and the Esterhazy Art Dating Shortlist (2024).
