János DOROGI

(1980, Debrecen) sculptor

He graduated in sculpture in 2004 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his masters were György Jovánovics, Zoltán Karmó and Lajos Orr. He won the Barcsay Prize in 2001 and 2003, the Lipót Herman Prize in 2004, the prize of the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists at the Sopron Biennial of Medal in 2019, the Civitas Fidelissima Award of the City of Sopron in 2023 and the Kert Gallery Award at the Szolnok Artists’ Colony in 2023. He has exhibited his works in numerous exhibitions, and his solo show Ars Naturae was organised by the Kunsthalle Budapest in 2021.
