(1970, Budapest) sculptor

He began his studies at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna. He graduated in sculpture from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1995 and from the University of Pécs in 1998. Since 1997, he has been regularly exhibiting his works at home and abroad, including in Rome, The Hague, Paris, Vienna, London and Beijing. He is a member of the French Society of Fine Arts, the Austrian Association of Fine Artists, the Hungarian Sculptors’ Society, the Paris Autumn Salon Society and the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. His most important awards include the La Charité-sur-Loire City Prize at the International Sculpture Symposium, (2002), the Gold Medal at the Salon Violet, Paris (2004), the Prix Rumsey Sculpture Prize at the Salon des Beaux Arts, Paris (2014), the Munkácsy Award (2017) and the Kossuth Prize (2022). His sculptures can be seen in the public spaces of Budapest, Szeged, Komárom, Székelyudvarhely (Odorheiu Secuiesc), as well as in the cities and open-air museums of France, Brazil, Guatemala, Burkina Faso, Spain, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Dubai.
