Csaba TÓTH

(1959, Szombathely) painter

He graduated in 1985 from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where his master was Lajos Sváby. he taught at the Dániel Berzsenyi Teacher Training College in Szombathely from 1990 and was the head of its Department of Drawing between 2000 and 2002. He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Visual Arts at the Savaria University Center of the University of West Hungary. He regularly publishes articles on fine arts and organises the Plein Air Artists’ Colony in Vasszécseny. He received the Munkácsy Award in 2016 and the Simsay Prize in 2022.
