Judit HORVÁTH LÓCZI
(1981, Budapest) fine artist
She graduated as a landscape architect in 2004 and obtained her second degree in colour dynamics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She completed her studies in visual representation at the Metropolitan University of Budapest between 2011 and 2014. She has been working at the Old Artists’ Colony in Szentendre since 2020. She is a member of the Association of Hungarian Creative Artists, the Hungarian Society of Art Book Creators, the Hungarian Painters’ Society and Mensa HungarIQa. Her major recognitions and achievements include the Barcsay Prize (2015), the first prize of the H ungary Emerging competition (2018), a scholarship from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation (2019), a special prize from MANK (2022), a creative fellowship from the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2022), and being selected among the twelve best artists at the Budapest Contemporary fair (2024). Her works can be found in the Contemporary Collection of the Hungarian National Gallery, the King St Stephen Museum, the Miszla Art Cultural Centre and in the Hungarikonok collection.
