He was a member of the Békéscsaba Circle of Fine Arts from 1967 to 1971, in which year he joined the Szőnyi I stván Summer Free School of Fine Arts in Zebegény, where he taught applied graphics between 1988 and 1994. He was a member of the Lajos Vajda Studio in Szentendre from 1975 and the Szentendre Graphic Workshop from 1980. He has been working at the Old Art Colony in Szentendre since 2014. He won the Munkácsy Award in 2002, as well as the Special Prize and the Art Award of the Hungarian Academy of Arts in 2017 and 2018, respectively. He was bestowed the title of Meritorious Artist in 2024. He has exhibited his works in numerous solo and group shows since 1980.
