Márton TAKÁTS

(1971, Budapest) graphic artist, painter

He graduated in graphic arts from the Hungarian College of Arts in 1995 and completed his MA degree in the institution between 1995 and 1996. His master was Róbert Kőnig throughout this period. H e has had sever al solo exhi bitions at home and abroad. He won the main prize of the Chain Bridge competition, the bronze medal at the “Salon 1999” Espace Eiffel Branly in Paris, the Miklós Galyasi Prize (2006), the prize awarded by the Foundation for the Municipalities of Csongrád County (2017), the Koller Prize (2008) and the Béla Endre Master Award (2023). He held the scholarship of the Hungarian Academy in Rome in 2010 and the scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Arts for the period of 2020-2022. A significant part of his graphic work is owned by the KOGART Collection.
