Alajos ESZIK

(1953, Kiskunfélegyháza) graphic artist

He graduated in reproduction graphics in 1983 from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where his teachers were Szilárd Iván and Károly Raszler. He was a lecturer at the institution between 1983 and 2018. He has used all the traditional graphic techniques in his work. He has made etchings, aquatints, lithographs, linocuts, serigraphs, pastel pictures as well as unique graphics, drawings, watercolour, oil and acrylic pictures. In the last decade, he has had thirteen major solo exhibitions. He is a corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Modern Hungarian Gallery in Pécs, the János Damjanich Museum in Szolnok and in the Óbuda Museum.
