sculptor and medal artist He completed his studies in art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. He was a lecturer at the Banská Bystrica Teacher Training College between 1961 and 1966, and he taught at the Nitra Teacher Training College between 1968 and 1971. He regularly participated in exhibitions in Czechoslovakia, and later in Slovakia and Hungary, including the Europa 24 group exhibitions and the biennials of the International Art Medal Federation (FIDEM). Many of his monu ments, sculptures and relief plaques can be seen in Slovakia and Hungary. He was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts from 2005.
