Róbert CSÁKI

(1964, Budapest) painter

He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1990, and later obtained an MA from the same institution under the tutelage of Gábor Dienes. He has been accoladed at the Vásárhely Autumn Exhibition six times since 1991. He won the third prize of Magyar Aszfalt in 1998, a Hungart scholarship in 2000 as well as the bronze and silver medals at the Paris Autumn Salon in 2002 and 2003, while he was awarded at the Biennial of Panel Painting in 2024. He had retrospective exhibitions at the Reök Palace in Szeged (2010) as well as at the Vigadó Gallery (2015) and the Széphárom Community Space (2016) in Budapest. He also had solo exhibitions at the Kálmán Makláry Fine Arts Gallery in 2021 and 2024.
