Zoltán BÁNFÖLDI

(1962, Budapest) painter

He studied painting at the Hague Academy of Arts From 1988 to 1991. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 1995 and obtained his DLA degree in 2009. In addition to painting, he is also engaged in photography. He has regularly held solo exhibitions in Hungary since 1992 but also had exhibitions in Rome, Switzerland and Israel. He has won several art scholarships (Association of Hungarian Creative Artists, Studio of Young Artists Association, National Cultural Fund of Hungary, the Hungarian Academy in Rome, and the Kunstverein scholarship of Vienna). His works can be found in numerous Hungarian public collections.
