Munkácsy Award-winning sculptor
He completed his studies at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where his masters were Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl, Iván Szabó and András Beck. He participated in the Young Artists’ Biennial in Paris in 1963 and took part in the Venice Biennial of Visual Arts in 1964. He was the head of the department of sculpture at the College of Applied Arts from 1976 and later its associate professor. He was bestowed the title of Meritorious Artist of Hungary in 1973 and the title of Outstanding Artist of Hungary in 1986.
