Henrik MARTIN

(1979, Siófok) painter and sculptor

He graduated in 2004 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his master was Árpád Szabados. He has been exhibiting his works in Hungary and abroad since 1998. He was a Derkovits scholarship holder between 2014 and 2017 and won the main prize of the national Goldilocks Zone competition in 2017. He has lived in Szentendre since 2017, working at the Old Artists’ Colony. He is currently a student at the Doctoral School of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts with Péter Menasági as his supervisor. His works can be found in the collections of the Rómer Flóris Museum, the House of Arts Veszprém and the Hungarian National Bank.
