(1958, Zalaegerszeg) painter

He completed his studies from 1980 to 1986 at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, where his masters were Ignác Kokas and Gábor Dienes. He has participated in over fifty solo and over one hundred group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad since 1983. Some of his important recognitions include the Victor Vasarely scholarship in Paris, the Munkácsy Award, the scholarship of the Hungarian Academy in Rome, the Kunststipendium der Stadt Frankfurt, the Prix Ars Electronica Computergraphic, Anerkennung, the Derkovits Award for Excellence, the Derkovits scholarship, the XX. Internationale Malerwochen in der Steiermark in Graz, and the Lipót Herman Award. His works can be found in the collections of the Hungarian National Gallery, the Ludwig Museum, the Flóris Rómer Museum of Art and H istory in Győr, the King Saint Stephen Museum in Székesfehérvár, the Gallery of Modern Hungarian Art in Pécs, the Neue Galerie in Graz, the County Library in Békéscsaba and the Gallery of Szombathely. He had a solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Budapest in 2018.
