Fábián BARÁTH

(1984, Zombor / Sombor, SRB) sculptor

He graduated in sculpture in 2010 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his teachers were Zoltán Karmó and Ádám Farkas. He has been participating in solo and group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad since 2000. He is a member of Association of Hungarian Creative Artists, the Association of Hungarian Fine and Applied Artists and the Szolnok Society of Fine Arts. He has been a resident of the Szolnok Art Colony since 2010. He has won several prizes at fine art competitions since 2001. H e received the Lipót Herman Prize in 2010, the Zoltán Borbereki Kovács Prize in 2014, the Searching for T-Art Award in 2019 and the Civitas Fidelissima Prize at the Sopron Medal Biennial in 2021. He has been the president of the Hungarian Society of Sculptors since 2024.
