Miklós János BOROS

(1980, Kisvárda) sculptor

He graduated in sculpture in 2005 from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE), where his teachers were Lajos Orr, Zoltán Karmó and György Jovánovics. He obtained his DLA at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs in 2017 with István Bencsik as his supervisor. He has been exhibiting his works since 2003. His art has been recognised with accolades awarded by the Association of Hungarian Creative Artists, the Foundation for Hungarian Medal Art and the Hungarian Academy of Arts, among others. In his sculptures, he equally uses traditional sculptural techniques and means of expression typical of installations. He is an associate professor at the Department of Architecture of the University of Debrecen, and a lecturer at the Department of Sculpture at MKE.
