(1953, Budapest) painter
He studied on a scholarship at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig under Professor Gert Wunderlich in 1990. He mostly works with oil, acrylic paint and a specially developed watercolour, as well as with ink and ecoline. He is a gesture painter, applying a mixture of ink and plextol to an acrylic base with a sponge. His most important awards include the Pro Urbe Erzsébetváros (2007), the Híd Art Prize (2017), the Nógrád County Autumn Exhibition Golden Diploma (2018, 2021, 2022) and the Káplár Miklós Prize (2021). His works can be found in numerous collections around Hungary.
