Norbert KOTORMÁN

(1967, Békéscsaba) sculptor

He completed his studies at the Tömörkény István Secondary School of Arts in 1995 and then studied sculpture at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, where his master was József Somogyi. He participated in the DLA training of the JPTE Master School of Fine Arts between 1995 and 1999, where his master was István Bencsik. He then taught at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts. His works have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. His most important recognitions include the Munkácsy Award (2019), a scholarship from the Section of Fine Arts of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (2021–2022), and the Tornyai Plaque (2022).
