He graduated from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, where his master was Aurél Bernáth. As a fledgling artist he joined the group of surnaturalists and then focused on conceptual works, photographs and performances, later producing hyperrealist paintings. From 1979, he lived in France, where he founded a private art school in Torcy. He participated in the Iparterv exhibitions in Budapest and had several solo exhibitions in Budapest, Paris and Tokyo. He was awarded the Grand Prix at the Salon de Maisons-Laffitte in 1995. His works can be found in numerous public collections in Hungary and France.
